Hi, and welcome! Blurbillon? What Blurbillon? Well, it's called lack of imagination. A blue tourbillon -› Blurbillon.
I'm Timo, a watchmaker and a maker of... things. I'm currently based in Finland, north Europe. This is my personal online portfolio containing information and media about things I've made or am in the process of making. Some of the things you see here are for sale and I also make bespoke pieces.
I'm a fully qualified watchmaker and micromechanic. I've received my professional training in watchmaking schools in Finland and Switzerland. My goal is to make my timepieces by hand as much as possible. I do not use CNC machinery or other modern manufacturing methods such as 3D printing, laser cutting etc. I use traditional tools, machines and methods to make each part individually. While this may not make much sense in this modern world where efficiency is paramount, I feel this is the only way I can honestly speak of a handmade timepiece. Each piece I make is unique. There is no series production and I will not make two of a kind.
I fully support the "maker movement" which is currently gaining popularity. The movement encourages people to make things, learn things and share things. There's not much point in making something cool and not show anyone, is there? Just... leave the fancy watches alone, OK? Please?
